Stretch everyday do flexability stretches Stretch everyday do flexability stretches it will help with your jumps and prob tumbling. for the stretches on yourtube search Anna Mcnutly she does really good stretches for flexibility she also has videos to help with jumps.make sure your toes are straight when doing jumps. for JV most schools want you to be able to do a back handspring and 3 jumps really good (pike,hurdler,toe touch). For Varsity some schools want you to be able to have 3 back handsprings in a row and 360 degree flip and a 360 dregree twist. Make sure to stay fit and workout it really helps your jumps. Also having muscle is really good it helps you alot. Make sure your dance moves you have to do are controlled and strong. You will also be very sore when starting or doing certain things.I recomend getting Biofreeze and a before and after workout cream and one more thing soaking in Epson salt helps alot. And last invest in good activewear that holds up for a long time. Some school will have a dress code or certain type of active wear they want you to wear.
