The path of a shot thrown during a shot put event can be modeled by the function
f(x)--0.025x2+x+5. In this function, x is the horizontal distance (in feet) from where the shot is
released and f(x) is the height (in feet) of the shot. What is the maximum height reached by the
shot?
A 5 ft
C 15 ft
B. 20 ft
D 35 Ft

The answer to you problem is going to be 15 ft because you have to find the maximum (vertex) y-value in the vertex
