A jar contains 125 marbles. Given 2% of the marbles are green, 54% of the marbles are blue, and the rest are red, how many red marbles are in the jar?

Answer:

There are 55 red marbles in the jar.

Explanation:

Green marbles = 125 x 2/100 = 2.5

Blue marbles = 125 x 54/100 = 67.5

Red marbles = 125 - 67.5 - 2.5 = 55
