With the distributive property and combining like terms.
5x + 33 = 3 (6x - 10) + 11

Answer:

x=4

Explanation:

5x + 33 = 18x-30 + 11

Add the numbers

5x + 33 = 18x-19

Subtract 33 from both sides of the equation

5x + 33-33 = 18x-19-33

5x=18x-52

Subtract 18x from both sides of the equation

5x-18x = 18x-52-18x

-13x = -52

-13x/-13 = -52/-13

x=4
