Question:-

Factor the following 15v² + 7 = 38v

Solution:-

15v² + 7 = 38v

15v² - 38v + 7 = 0

15v² - 3v - 35v + 7 = 0

3v(5v - 1) - 7(5v - 1) = 0

(5v - 1)(3v - 7) = 0

So,

Either, 5v - 1 = 0

5v = 1

{ \boxed{\rm \red {v \: = (1)/(5)}}} (Answer)

And, 3v - 7 = 0

3v = 7

{ \boxed{\rm \purple {v \: = (7)/(3)}}} (Answer)
