Answer:

D. 4(s + 3) & (s + 3) + (s + 3) + (s + 3) + (s + 3)

Explanation:

We know this is a square (which is a polygon, which requires at least 3 sides), so A & B are out. C is also out because of the first expression. All 4 sides are s + 3; what the first expression on C is saying is we're adding a 5th side of 3 to 4 sides with length s. That leaves D as our answer. Bonus: Another expression that could work for this is 4s + 12 (which is both of D's expressions simplified.).
