Step 1 : break down each mini-espression you're solving

(2x+5)(3x-2)

each term is multiplied by both terms in the other set of parenthasis.

(2x · 3x) + (2x · -2) + (5 · 3x) + (5 · -2)

Step 2 : Solve each idividual piece

(2x · 3x) = 6x²

(2x · -2) = -4x

(5 · 3x) = 15x

(5 · -2) = -10

Step 3 : Put it all together amd simplify

6x² - 4x + 15x - 10

6x² + 11x - 10
