Okay, first find the area of the circle (πr^2)

The diameter of the circle is 14, however we need the radius. Simply divide the diameter by two.


\pi 7^(2)

3.14*49 =153.86

Next, we find the area of the rectangle (bh)

13*5 =65

Subtract the rectangle from the circle.

153.86-65 =88.86
