Is it linear? If so, write the equation in standard form and give the values of A,B and C.

Answer:

yes it's linear.

Explanation:

you can determine if it's linear by check if you can make the equation be :

y=mx+b

so first, you can change the equation 2x-8y=16 to 8y=2x-16

and then, you can take out the common fact 2, which would be 4y=x-8

at this stage, you can even devide the whole by 4, wich the equation would be y=1/4x-2 or

y=1/4x+(-2) which is follow the equation y=mx+c, therefore, it is linear.

Yes it is linear since it's in the standard form Ax+By = C

A = 2

B = -8

C = 16
