Isaac has a points card for a movie theater. He receives 65 rewards points just for signing up. He earns 12. 5 points for each visit to the movie theater. He needs at least 210 points for a free movie ticket. Write and solve an inequality which can be used to determine xx, the number of visits Isaac can make to earn his first free movie ticket

Answer:

65 + 12.5v = m (M being free movie)

Explanation:

65 for the original 65 poitns he gets for signing up, then if he gets 12.5 points for every movie he visits then you need to multiply 12.5 times the amount of movies he went to (v) so it would be 65 + 12.5v
v would need to be 11.6

If you do 210 - 65 thats 145, then you do 145 divided by 12.5 which would get you 11.6
