Find the value of x. if 2xsquare+4=54 is given. ​

start off with your given.

2x2 + 4 = 54
- 4 - 4
2x2 = 50
\2 \2
x2 = 25

now square root both sides of the equation which leaves us the answer of x = -5, 5
