Hi There!

\displaystyle(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) (Slope formula)

Where

y2 is the y-coordinate of the second point

y1 is the y-coordinate of the 1st point

x2 is the x-coordinate of the second point

x1 is the x-coordinate of the 1st point

In this case:

y2=3

y1=-2

x2-5

x1=0

Plug in the values and solve:

\displaystyle(3-(-2))/(5-0)

\displaystyle(3+2)/(5)

\displaystyle(5)/(5)

1

The slope is: 1

Hope it helps!

Have an awesome day!
