Explanation:

In order to find the product of a fraction

you just have to multiply both numerator and denominator, then we reduce it (if needed).

I'll be showing you an example, to see what I'm trying to explain.

we have the fractions:

3/4 x 2/8

(multiply the numerators and denominators)

3 2 6

___ × ___ = ____

4 8 32

we get the answer of 6/32... then we simplify it

the reduced form would be 3/16
