The Notation for each event Not been independent = P( HT ) or P( TH )

Explanation:

when A fair coin flipped ; P( H ) = 0.5 and P( T ) = 0.5

Hence when it is flipped twice the possible outcome = 4

= HH , HT , TT, TH

Since Notation for conditional probability = P ( HH ) this shows that each flip is independent
