Explanation:

Depending on how you're math is going there are two ways to solve this, find the are by the arc or just figure out the whole cookie and divide by 6. Let's try the latter is seems easier to say. I mean easier for me to say.

area of a circle is pi * r^2

the diameter is 30 inches so the radius is half of that or 15 inches

then the whole cookie is

pi*15^2 = 706.858
in^(2)

now divide by 6 or each piece

706.858
in^(2) / 6 = 117.8097
in^(2)

now eat your cookie :p
