Solution

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

1.5^2 + b^2 = 3^2

2.25 + b^2 = 9

b^2 = 9 - 2.25

b^2 = 6.75

sqrt(b^2) = sqrt(6.75)

b = 2.5981

Cost

1 mile costs 25000

2.5981 costs x

1/2.5981 = 25000 / x Cross Multiply

x = 2.5981 * 25000

x = 64951.91
