I've been stuck on this problem for a while and I've tried multiple different methods to solve this, but all the answers I get are showing wrong. Is someone able to help or/and give a step-by-step explanation?

Question:
In 2000, there were 850 students in one middle school. In 2008, the same middle school has 1,100 students. Find the percent increase. Round to the nearest tenth.

i got a percetage increase of 130% (1.3)

1100/850 = 1.29411

Round it b.ruh

1.3 or 130%
