m2 =1/4

Explanation:

m1 . m2 = 1

m1 is given 4 then

4.m2 =1

4.m2/4 =1/4

m2 = 1/4

Hello there!

The slopes of perpendicular lines are opposite reciprocals.

So, if one line has a slope of 4, then the slope of the line perpendicular to it is the opposite of 4 flopped over (-1/4)
