Ⲁⲛ⳽ⲱⲉⲅ:

  • The length of sides of given parallelogram is 7cm and 15 cm .

Ⲋⲟⳑⳙⲧⳕⲟⲛ :

Let us assume that the length of one side of parallelogram be x and the other sides of the parallelogram be y .

On the basis of given information we can say that:

  • One side of a parallelogram is 8cm more that the other

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ x + 8 = y

  • Perimeter of parallelogram = 44 cm
  • ‎Perimeter = sum of all sides
  • As parallelogram has 2 equal sides , we can say that ; Perimeter of parallelogram = 2 ( l + b )

Ⲧⲏⲉⲅⲉ⳨ⲟⲅⲉ,

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ 2 ( x + y ) = 44

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ 2 ( x + x + 8 ) = 44

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ 2 ( 2x + 8 ) = 44

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ 4x + 16 = 44

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ 4x = 44 - 16

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ 4x = 28

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ x = 28 / 4

ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ x = 7 cm

Since,

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ y = x + 8

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ y = 7 + 8

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ y = 15 cm

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ~Hence, the sides of parallelogram are 15cm , 15 cm, 7 cm and 7cm !
