Does anyone know how the whole y=mx+b situation works? Daughters asking... not too good at math.

To find out, suppose
`(x_(1), y_(1))` and
`(x_(2) ,y_(2) )` are two points on the graph of

y = mx + b.

Then
`y_(1) =mx_(1) +b` and
`y_(2) =mx_(1) +b`.

Use algebra to simplify
`(y_(2) -y_(1) )/(x_(1) -x_(2) )`

And give a geometric interpretation.
