Explanation:

\underline{ \underline{ \large{ \tt{S \: O \: L \: U \: T \: I \: O \: N}}}} :

~Set up an equation and solve for x :

\large{ \tt2x \degree - 21 \degree = 87 \degree} [ Being alternate angles ]

Since we want to get rid of constant on left hand side , add 21 on both sides :

\large{ \tt{2x - 21 \degree + 21 \degree = 87 \degree + 21 \degree}}

\large{ \tt{2x \degree = 108 \degree}}

Divide both sides by 2

\large{ \tt{ (2x)/(2) = (108)/(2) \degree}}

\large{ \tt{x = 54 \degree}}

\boxed{ \boxed{ \large{ \text{Our \: Final \: Answer : } \underline{ \tt{x = 54\degree}}}}}

Hope I helped ! ♡
