Answer:

D

Explanation:

5x - 14y = -39

Change it to slope intercept form by solving for y.

subtract 5x from both sides first.

5x - 5x -14y = -39 -5x

The new equation is

-14y = -5x - 39

Divide each term by -14.

-14y/-14 = -5x/-14 -39/-14

The equation in slope intercept form is

y = 5/14x + 2.78

This is the only equation that has the most reasonable (positive) slope and the y-intercept of 2.78. The y-intercept is approximately half way between 5 and 0 and 2.78 satisfies that.
