“Complementary Angles” is/are basically TWO (or MORE) angles that has the SUM is 90°
Whereas, “Supplementary Angles” is/are basically TWO (or MORE) angles that has the SUM of 180°
Example of a Complementary Angle:
30° + 40° + 20° = 90°
30° + 40° = 70°
70° + 20° = 90°
90° = 90°
This makes this a COMPLEMENTARY angle because it equals 90°
Example of a supplementary angle
90° + 90° = 180°
This makes this a SUPPLEMENTARY angle because it equals 180°
