Answer: 7 yards

Explanation:

Given

The area of the trapezoid is
46\ yards^2

The height of the trapezoid is
h=4\ yards

One of the bases is
a=16\ yards

Suppose another base is b

The area of the trapezoid is

A=(a+b)/(2)* h

Putting values

\Rightarrow 46=(16+b)/(2)* 4\\\\\Rightarrow 23=16+b\\\Rightarrow b=7\ yards

The length of other base is 7 yards
