Answer:

x=-2,-4 is your answer

x²+6x+8=0

doing middle term factorization

x²+4x+2x+8=0

x(x+4)+2(x+4)=0

(x+4)(x+2)=0

either

x=-4

or

x=-2

Explanation:

\underline{ \underline{ \large{\tt{T \: O \: \: F \: A \: C \: T \: O \: R \: I\: Z \: E \: }}}} :

  • \large{ \tt{ {x}^(2) + 6x + 8}}

\underline{ \underline{ \large { \tt{S \: O \: L \: U \: T \: I \: O \: N}} }} :

Firstly find two numbers which when multiplied results to 8 and when added,it results to 6. The two numbers must be 4 and 2.

\large{ \tt{ {x}^(2) + (4 + 2)x + 8}}

\large{ \tt{ \underbrace{{x}^(2) + 4x} + \underbrace{2x + 8}}}

Now, Take common from first two terms :

\large {\tt{x(x + 4) + 2x + 8}}

Take common from last two terms :

\large{ \tt{x(x + 4) + 2(x + 4)}}

\large{ \tt{(x + 4)(x + 2)}}

\boxed{ \boxed{ \underline{ \text{Our \: Final \: Answer : \boxed{ \bold{ \text{(x + 4)(x + 2)}}}}}}}

Hope I helped ! ツ

Have a wonderful day / night ! ♡
