What is the slope of the line through (-9, 6) (-3, 9)

To find the slope, you can use the equation y2-y1 divided by x2 - x1. When you plug in the numbers from the problem, the equation becomes 9-6/-3-(-9). We know that subtracting by a negative is the same as adding a positive, so the equation becomes 9-6/-3+9. When you solve this, it becomes 3/6, which can be simplified to become 1/2.
