Area of circle = πr²

Area:
= 3.14 x (7.1)²

= 3.14 x 50.41

= 158.2874

= 158.29 (nearest hundredth)

Answer: 158.2874

Step-by-step explanation:
The area of a circle is pi times the radius squared (A = π r²).

Our radius is 7.1 so we square it which is basically the equivalent of doing 7.1 x 7.1 which equals 50.41 then we multiply this by pi which is 3.14 so it 50.41 x 3.14 = 158.2874
