Answer:

25 & 26

  • Complementary angles sum to 90°

Angle:

  • 90° - 47° = 43°

Find x

  • 2x -3 = 43
  • 2x = 46
  • x = 23

27 & 28

  • Vertical angles are congruent

Angle

  • 82°

Find y

  • 5y + 12 = 82
  • 5y = 70
  • y = 14

29 & 30

  • Adjacent angles forming a straight line are supplementary and sum to 180°

Angle:

  • 180° - 115° = 65°

Find n:

  • 4n - 5 = 65
  • 4n = 70
  • n = 17.5

31 & 32

Angle addition postulate

  • ∠XYZ = ∠XYW + ∠WYZ

Angle

  • m∠XYW = 110° - 72° = 38°

Find x:

  • 3x + 2 = 38
  • 3x = 36
  • x = 12

33 & 34

  • Complementary and vertical angles (mentioned above)

Angle

  • 90° - 35° = 55°

Find n:

  • 5n = 55
  • n = 11
