To find:

Volume of cylinder

Steps:

First lets find the radius of cylinder,

Base area = πr²

196π = πr²

196 = r² (pi gets canceled)

14 = r

Radius of cylinder is 14 cm

So, diameter of cylinder is 28 cm (d= 2r = 2 * 14 = 28)

Therefore height of cylinder is 28 cm

Now lets find the volume of cylinder,

Volume of cylinder = Base area × height

= 196π × 28

= 5488π

= 5488 × π

= 17,241.1 cm cube

Therefore the volume of the cylinder is 17,241.1 cm³
