PLEASE HELPPPPPP!!!!Tim sells two types of pizza. He charges $10 for a cheese pizza and $15 for a pepperoni pizza. Yesterday he sold 64 pizzas in all. For every cheese pizza, he sells 3 pepperoni pizzas. How much money did he make selling pizzas yesterday?

Answer:

  • He made $880 yesterday.

Explanation:

1 cheese pizza = 3 pepperoni pizzas

  • => (x) cheese pizza = 3(x) pepperoni pizzas
  • => x + 3x = 64
  • => 4x = 64
  • => x = 16

Hence, Tim sold 16 cheese pizzas and 48 pepperoni pizzas.

  • => 1 cheese pizza = $10
  • => 1 pepperoni pizza = $15
  • => (10 x 16) + (48 x 15) = Total money earned
  • => $880 = Total money earned

Hence, he made $880 yesterday.
