Explanation:

  1. Turn the mixed fraction into a regular fraction. Multiply the whole number by the denominator, then add that total to the number in the numerator. (For example:
    9(2)/(6) = 9 ×6=54 +2=
    (56)/(6))
  2. Once both mixed fractions are turned into regular fractions, flip one of them so they are written as their reciprocal (example:
    (56)/(6)=
    (6)/(56)) ONLY DO THIS TO ONE OF THE FRACTIONS, this will allow you to seamlessly cross multiply)
