We need 2 people from a group of 6.

Pick a random person from the 6, then group them with another person. We have 5 ways to do so.

Now, we will pick a person to group with the person who got grouped with the first person, except the first person themself. We have 4 ways to do so

Keep repeating, we will have 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 15 ways to choose 2 people out of 6.
