First you add 6 to both sides which would then leave you with the equation 16<2x, then you divide each side by 2, which will then leave you with 8

X < 8

Explanation:

I moved the numbers around to -2 >-6 -10

Then found the answer to -2x> -16 which then got me my answer of x < 8
