Answer:

1 and 2

Explanation:

Let the first number be x

Let the other number be y

x = 2y.....eqn 1

From eqn 1, the smaller number is y while the bigger number is x.

3x + 4y = 10.... eqn 2

Substitute x = 2y into eqn 2

3(2y) + 4y = 10

6y + 4y = 10

10y = 10

Divide both sides by 10

y = 10/10

y = 1

Substitute y= 1 into eqn 1

x = 2y

x = 2(1)

x = 2
