Length = 6 mm

Height = 7 mm

Width = 10 mm

We know that,

\boxed{\rm Surface\:area\:of\:rectangle=2(LB)+2(BH)+2(HL)}

  • Plug in the given values!~

\sf \\rightarrow \: SA = 2 * (6 * 10) + 2 * (7 * 10) + 2 * (6 * 7)

\sf \\rightarrow \: SA = 2 * 60 + 2 * 70 + 2 * 42

\sf \\rightarrow \: SA = 120 + 140 + 84

\tt \multimap \: SA = 344 \: {mm}^(2)

Solution:

Note that:

  • Surface area: 2(LB) + 2(BH) + 2(LH)

Substitute the values given into the expression to find the surface area.

  • 2(7 x 10) + 2(6 x 6) + 2(6 x 10)
  • => 2(70) + 2(36) + 2(60)
  • => 140 + 72 + 120
  • => 332 mm²

The surface area of the rectangular prism is 332 mm².
