What should be done to solve the following equation?

x - 9 = 13

Add 9 to both sides of the equation.
Subtract 9 from both sides of the equation.
Subtract 13 from both sides of the equation.
Add 9 to the left side of the equation.

add 9 to both sides. if you’re trying to find x you need to isolate it and in doing so you have to reverse the -9 by adding 9

if you are trying to find x, you add nine to both sides of the equation.
