We solve this question as if it was an equation but keep the sign an inequality sign this will be flipped when you divide both sides.
-5x+27>2
Subtract 27 from both sides:
-5x+27-27>2-27
-5x>-25
Divide both sides by -5 AND FLIP THE SIGN:
-5x/-5<-25/-5
x<5
If we substitute 5 into the inequality it will not be true but if you do any number below 5 it will work.
Therefore x<5 is the correct answer
