In your own words, provide a brief summary of the basic principle we call “federalism” in the United States. How's it different than a unitary form of government?

Answer: Federalism is when you want a strong central government. Like right now our country is relying on the federalism to run ur country. the most important difference between a unitary system and a federal one is that the states or provinces of a federal state have constitution protected jurisdiction . Within a federal system the state or provincial governments share jurisdiction with the federal government and have final jurisdiction over a broad range of politic areas.
