1- you cross multiply to bring d to the other side

h/1=d/3+2

2- this step will make this equation look like this

d=h (3+2)

* we kept 3+2 in brakets because h is multiplying the sum of 3+2

h (3+2) is the same as 5h

but they did not tell us to simplyify so we leave it as it is

3- now we have d as the subject

d=h(3+2)
