=> Total number of marble = 35

=> ratio of David and Jason = 2 : 3

=> let the ratio be in x

=> now, 2x + 3x = 35

=> 5x = 35

=> x = 35/5

=> x = 7

=> number of marble with David = 7*2 = 14

=> number of marble with Jason = 7*3 = 21
