Cassie has 30 marbles. Abdul has m marbles. If Cassie has 10 times as many

marbles as Abdul, write an equation that shows how many marbles Abdul has.

30=10m

m=3

Explanation:

On the other side should be an expression representing how many marbles Cassie has in terms of the number of marbles that Abdul has. Abdul has m marbles, and Cassie has ten times that many. Wouldn't that be 10m? That should be placed on the right-hand side of the equation. From there, it should be fairly simple to solve for m.
