so basically if you take all the ordered pairs

(-4,6) (-3,2) (-1,-2) (2,0) (2,3) (3,3) (4,-2) (5,1)

You'll see that there are two 2's or two of the same x values thus it makes a straight line if you wanted to do that but also no x value can have two y values
