y=mx+b

So you have the equation of

16x+4y=44 as the initial response

Now you just have to isolate it into the from of y=mx+b

SO first subtract 16x on both sides to isolate the 4y since its the initial response as y=mx+b

Then when that is done you should have the answer of

4y= 44-16x

Now You have to isolate the “y”.

By dividing 4 on both sides to get the new equation which will be

y= 11-4x

You can leave it like that or just move around the (x) to make it more plausible as the answer of y=mx+b

y= -4x+11

However you would put it, that is the answer

y= -4x+11

And

y= 11-4x
