What do you think would be the most challenging aspect of collecting and analyzing hair samples? Why?

Answer: i think the hardest point of this is making sure your sample is good becuse it needs to have dna in able to be analyed correctly

At a scene, there could be many different types of hair (dog, cat etc…) but there will also be hair from other people. On a body they must be careful that they do not tamper or contaminate any evidence.
A hair sample will indicate the colour, condition of hair and race of the person. There is also the hair structure : cuticle(coronal, spinous and imbricate) , cortex which contains the melanin and central medulla (continuous, fragmentation and absent). You must also consider the somatic regions.
