6. Ava's school is selling tickets to a spring musical. On the first day of ticket sales the school sold 3
student tickets and 3 adult tickets for a total of $45. On the second the school sold 6 student tickets
and 11 adult tickets and took in a total of $130. What is the price of a student and an adult ticket?

3s + 3a = 45

6s + 11a = 130

s + a = 15

s = 15 - a

6(15-a) + 11a = 130

90 - 6a + 11a = 130

5a = 130 - 90

5a = 40
