An easy way to do this is add up all of the students, then divide the total number of males who do not have an A by that number.

2 + 6 + 5 + 9 = 22

Now taking this number, we can divide 9 by it.

9 ÷ 22 = 9/22

The probability of choosing a male that does not get A's in the class is 9/22.
