Answer:

New Price=35.30

Explanation:

Calculating percentage increase

work out the difference between the two numbers being compared.

divide the increase by the original number and multiply the answer by 100.

in summary: percentage increase = increase ÷ original number × 100.

Given,

A stock sold the previous day=32.50

Increased Percentage%=6.4%

Increased Sum=

(6.4)/(100) x
32.50 =
(208)/(100)

=2.08

New Price=CP+Increased Sum

New Price =32.50+2.80

New Price=35.30
