-2(2x - 3) = -22
-4x + 6 = -22
-4x = -22-6
-4x = -28
X = 7

Another way:
-2(2x - 3) = -22
2x - 3 = -22/-2
2x - 3 = 11
2x = 11+3
2x = 14
X = 7

Divide both side by -2
2x-3=11

Move constant
2x=11+3

Simplify
2x=14

Solution
X=7
