It is easier to graph using a free online graphing utility, such as DESMOS. See the attached graph. If the goal is to make a graph with pencil and graph paper, then select a few values of x and put them into the equation to find y.

A talble of a few random values is attached.

The graph includes both the generated DEMOS line (a downwards parabola) and the calculated points from the attached table. Add the points to a blank graph and draw a line as best you can that connects all the points. It is clear that a few more points with negative values of x would help with the line drawing.
