50.2 = 5.02 × 10¹

1102 = 1.102 × 10³

so,

50.2 × 1102 = 5.02 × 1.102 × 10³×10¹ =

= 5.02 × 1.102 × 10⁴

so, the decimal point moves 3 positions to the right :

55,320.4
